We are excited to announce the soft launch of the "Pencader Matching Gift Challenge", this Saturday, May 4th with an event hosted on our museum grounds. The Pencader Heritage Area Association has received a $50K matching gift donation made in the loving memory of **John W. Slack Sr.

On Saturday, May 4th bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the transporting musical talent of the 28th Pennsylvania Regimental Brass Band playing period music at the Pencader Heritage Museum. Talented re-enactors will be playing period music from the Civil War era with authentic period instruments and wearing historically accurate uniforms! Please come out to support us. The band will be playing music from 10 a.m.- noon and resume playing from 2:30 p.m.- 4:30 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the event will have to be rescheduled.
