THE PHAA SPEAKERS BUREAU
The Pencader Heritage Area Association (PHAA) is pleased to announce the formation of a "Speakers Bureau" to make available to the public resources of the organization.

The PHAA collects, documents, and preserves the physical and oral culture of the area known as the Pencader Hundred in New Castle County, Delaware. We have established a museum containing artifacts from the Revolutionary War, the Civil War and subsequent Wars, as well as urban and rural culture. Located in the old white, dairy barn, just south of the intersection of Old Baltimore Pike and Route 72 (Newark) in the Cooch-Dayett Mills complex, the organization conducts a number of special programs and events, including a monthly Speakers Meeting presented by an area resident or a special-subject expert.

The staff recognizes that these resources may be of interest and value to the community, and have decided to develop a "Speakers Bureau" to make them available to the general public, school groups, Scout groups, civic associations etc. Resources currently available are listed on the next page.

Most of these services are Free, however, some will require a modest honorarium due to expenses incurred in their conduct. Email us or call E. Lowell Jacobs (Lowell) at 302-540-4051 for more information.

Talks can be performed either at the Museum or at the off-site location of the requesting party. Tours leave from the Museum area. Plently of free parking is available on site.

Nearly all of these services are conducted by knowledgeable unpaid volunteers who generously donate time from their personal lives to share these experiences. Accordingly, it may take a little time to make the necessary arrangements, so please make requests well ahead of your target date, as services for most events are not available on a ‘walk-in’ basis.

Thanks for your interest.      Speaker Topics Available PHAA Video Collection
