"CHIPP" is the Chestnut Hill Iron Pit Preservation area which has been dedicated as public parkland. PHAA staff are available to discuss those 1800's operations and guide interested groups thru the grounds. Tours would leave from the PHAA Museum.
Suggested attire: Walking shoes, long pants, cap, sunscreen, bug spray. About a one mile walk on moderate grades.
