Cooch-Dayett Mill Millrace Structures
Early mill activities on this stretch of the Christina River go back to shortly after 1700. Some of the succeeding structures including the two main dams and the millrace are still present. The structures themselves are not publicly owned, so access is restricted. Discussion will utilize a large-scale aerial photograph of the area. Much of the area is as it was in the 18th and 19th centuries. Program would be conducted in the museum.
