Lowell Jacobs will lead a ‘Whittlers jam’ in the morning (anytime after 10 am) including beginners carving lessons if requested, and a ‘Banjo set up/maintenance/old timey picking jam’ in the afternoon (anytime after noon). He’ll carve a hound dog and probably do a clawhammer version of ‘Old Rattler’ at some point’

There is no admission charge for either the museum (hours are 10-4 on first and third Saturdays )or Lowell’s workshops (typically third Saturdays).

The Museum contains artifacts from the Sept 3. 1777 Revolutionary War Battle of Cooches Bridge as well as many local artifacts from the succeeding 233 years.
